Land Acknowledgement & Diversity Statement

At Rogers Center, we celebrate diversity in all forms, recognizing that it enriches our community and deepens our connection to nature. We acknowledge that Rogers Center is located on the traditional lands of the Oneida Nation. We are committed to honoring Indigenous knowledge and practices and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. By embracing diverse perspectives, we foster creativity, innovation, and a vibrant community. Join us in building a space that reflects and respects the rich diversity of both human and natural ecosystems.

Rogers Center & The Friends of Rogers Center

Rogers Center is New York State’s oldest environmental education center. New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation operated Rogers Center until 2010. In 2011, the Friends of Rogers, a private nonprofit organization, reopened Rogers Center to keep this regional treasure available to current and future generations.
